Today was a beautiful day in Merrick. Everett and I took the day off and met Samara in Julian Lane Park. Samara was trying to teach Everett the art of blowing the "Puff Flowers" in the wind. Everett tried really hard but in the end just decided to eat it! It was very funny, we caught him just as he put it in his mouth. Samara then moved on to smelling the flowers, Everett really liked that. We had such a nice time with Sam, we can't wait to meet Everett's new friend in her belly!
After the park I took Everett to get his 3rd haircut. The second we arrived at the salon he flipped out. He hates getting his haircut - the first time he loved it but now its torture! He cried the whole time. I even tried to force a lolly pop on him. Since he never had a lolly pop before he didn't know what it was. After he was all done, he was pointing for the door to get him out of there. I sat him down and he finally accepted the lolly and of course HE LOVED IT!

So cute, we just had a similar experience with Alex, but he was so crazed, we had to give him the lolly during the haircut. Needless to say, it was covered in hair and his face had lolly all over it and the hair stuck to it. Poor thing was so miserable. Grandma saved the day with a bath and a nap soon followed.
