Halloween

Last Halloween Everett was 5 months old and sick so he didn't really get to enjoy the holiday - but don't worry he made up for it this year. Picking out a costume was somewhat difficult since he won't wear anything on his head and most costumes had some kind of head gear. After much shopping, we decided to go with the SKELETON PAJAMAS! They were perfect. I spiked up his hair and we were on our way. He was the cutest skeleton and really loved the concept of Halloween - he caught right on. And of course after his new discovery of lolly pops they were his first choice every time!

Fall Leaves

Everett has discovered LEAVES. At first he loved just sitting in them and then he learned that he could dive into them. It is so amazing to see his excitement over this new wonder. We can't wait for so many more first time discoveries with our little boy.

Day in the Park

Today was a beautiful day in Merrick. Everett and I took the day off and met Samara in Julian Lane Park. Samara was trying to teach Everett the art of blowing the "Puff Flowers" in the wind. Everett tried really hard but in the end just decided to eat it! It was very funny, we caught him just as he put it in his mouth. Samara then moved on to smelling the flowers, Everett really liked that. We had such a nice time with Sam, we can't wait to meet Everett's new friend in her belly!

After the park I took Everett to get his 3rd haircut. The second we arrived at the salon he flipped out. He hates getting his haircut - the first time he loved it but now its torture! He cried the whole time. I even tried to force a lolly pop on him. Since he never had a lolly pop before he didn't know what it was. After he was all done, he was pointing for the door to get him out of there. I sat him down and he finally accepted the lolly and of course HE LOVED IT!

Everett's Fat Lip

Everett has conquered his first real fat lip. He took a spill face first to the floor (thank goodness it was carpet). He was a champ - cried for a minute and went about his day. We took him to the carnival and he forgot all about it. Our tough little guy!!!

Line up and Dance

Everett just loves the pantry at Grandma's & Grandpa's. He loves opening the doors, hiding inside and rearranging all the food. During one of his pantry adventures he decided to take out everything he could and line it up on the table. I must say, this did occupy him for quite some time. He was very efficient.

Later that afternoon we took a trip to the mall and Ivan brought Everett to Dave and Busters while I shopped. Of course Everett found his calling on the DANCE MACHINE. He loved it and everyone around him was a fan!
