Florida 2012

We were lucky to make it to Florida this year and it was the most perfect weather yet! High 70's everyday! We visited with friends that were in Florida on vacation as well, swam in the pool and rods bikes everyday, went to cool parks, went to the beach and had the best vacation ever! Ivan and I even got to spend a night in Miami!  Thank you Nancy & Jeff for a great trip!!!

Everett's Buddies

Everett has made 2 really close friends at school: Bryan and Ryder. They are always hanging out and playing together. They are the Three Musketeers.  Here is a great picture of them captured by Miss Kate.

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday Mom! Today would have been your 60th Birthday and I know you are dancing your buns off wherever you are! There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. You have made such an impact on your children and you will carry on in us and in everything we do. You would be so proud of all of us. Happy Birthday to the most wonderful, caring and generous woman to have ever walked this earth. I love you so so SO much!

Texting With Aunt Alex

I was texting one night with Ally and Ev said I want to see her. So Ally sent us a funny picture. Everett said - can we send one back. So he wanted to be just like Aunt Alex and sent the same funny face back. 
It was very very cute!

Snow Day!

Everett has been asking for the last 2 months "when is it going to snow!?" Well it finally happened! The Rubinstein's and the Gabel's went to the Barrie's for the Big Snow Day! All the kids and Dad's had a blast! The Mom's stayed inside and had some wine!  Great snow day for everyone!!!

Daddy's Day Out

Ivan had the day off today and took Everett swimming at a pool by the river! Everett loved it and wore flippers for the first time. He is our little fish!

Grey & Black Day

Today when we were all in the kitchen at the Gabel's we realized we were all in Grey & Black. It was really cute so we took a picture!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This year Ivan and I rang in the New Year with a Filthy Martini, Jameson on the rocks, Gorgonzola Bread (Heaven on Earth) a Medium Rare Filet Mignon and Lobster for dessert!  We went to Jimmy Hayes for the drinks and dinner and then we picked up some lobster at Jordan Lobster Farms. We saw the biggest Lobster Claw EVER! We then stopped by where the Rubinstein's were in Merrick to give them our leftover Heaven on Earth - best gift for the new year!  After all that, we went back to the Gabel's where Jenn was hanging with Everett and enjoyed some Lobster.  We then headed over to Dad's to hang with Dad & Charles.  Ally & Heather's plans ended up falling through so they showed up as well. It was such a great way to bring in the New Year. We burnt the tree just before midnight, got back inside so see the ball drop and then 3 minutes later, Everett was OUT! He stayed up for it this year!  All in all it was a great night!!!

Katzman Sleepover

While Ivan & Dave were partying with Phish, Everett had a sleepover at Madelyn & Haley's.  He was so excited and so were Faith and I.  The kids played so nicely in the basement and fell asleep together in the same room. Everett had his own princess bed (so mad I forgot to take a picture).  After the kiddies were asleep Faith and I opened a bottle of wine.  Such a great night for everyone!  The next day the kids made playdoh cookies after breakfast.  We can't wait for our next sleepover!

Brunch with Alexandra

Today Everett & I met Samara and Alexandra for brunch at International Delight in RVC.  We had a nice date with pancakes and ice cream. Everett and Alexandra played under the table (sneaky) while Sam and I got to talk.  When we were leaving the kids were playing with the gumball machine and Ev started playing the ATM all of a sudden he turns around with $20 in his hand!!! It was great! Nice treat for brunch!

Everett has been so excited all week to hang out with Kenzie. Liz had a few things to do in the city so she dropped Kenzie off and we all got to play.  Everett and Kenzie had breakfast together and then hit the playdoh! They had so much fun and Ev was sad to see her go!
