Some Dates!

Everett is so fortunate to have great friends. Over the past few weeks he has hung out with Sam and is learning the meaning of sharing. He had a chance to see his girlfriend Loren and get "close" with her (he has to learn some boundaries). And most recently he had lunch with Isaac and a date with Brooke who likes to teach Everett how to do new things! He is only lucky kid!

Everett's First Limo

Nancy and Meryl took a stretch limo to the airport for their trip to Florida. Everett couldn't miss the opportunity to take a look inside and of course pose for a few paparazzi shots! He's just so cool!

Who Needs Toys?

During Easter we went out to my Aunt Doreen's. We brought a few toys for Everett to play with but of course he found more interesting things to play with. Cooking utensils and pots always make great drums. My cousin's boyfriend Alex couldn't resist himself and had to join in. And then, after tugging on his Auntie Doreen, and begging for some more toys, Everett found his favorite spot ... the cabinet with all the bags. He spent almost 20 minutes just pulling them out and putting the back! The kid knows what he likes! It was so nice to see everyone and we had a great Easter!

Everett's Hair

Everett's hair is getting really long. We want to wait another week or so to cut it but it keeps getting in his face. I don't think it bothers him much but I still feel the need to pull it back. Ivan is not thrilled when I put clips and headbands on him. I think he looks cute, and he doesn't mind it. (You think I'm ready for a little girl?)

Ross and his Ugg

Ross sprained his ankle playing soccer. He had to wear an air cast and his shoe would not fit with the cast on. He decided to wear Michele's slip on Ugg. He thought it was fine to wear so he went to work. He stopped by our apartment on his way home and I asked him if he wore that shoe all day? He said “yea, why is that bad”....I told him it was a little girly. He wondered why everyone was looking at him funny. I think Michele let him go out like that on purpose....it’s always a little fun to have your man look ridiculous!

Binky Love

Everett loves his Binky, it's going to be hard to take it away one day. We try not to give it to him during the day and we usually keep them out of sight, be Everett is a smart boy and remembered that we keep one attached to his stroller strap. Just the other morning before I was leaving for work, I looked over at Everett climbing up on his stroller. He reached up, grabbed the binky (still attached to the strap) and put it in his mouth. It was very funny and he knew it! He has done this a few times since.

MTA

Everett loves to take the bus. He can't sit still of course and wants to explore. Here are some pictures of his last few rides!

Weekend Pics

This weekend Faith came in to visit with Everett and then we went out for dinner and drinks! We had a nice time and cant wait to do it again. On Sunday we took a ride out to see the Weiss' in Brooklyn. We went to Prospect Park and played with the boys. Great weekend.

The Sock Drawer

Everett's new thing is taking things out of everything. He fills up and dumps out all his toys into buckets, he throws his toys into the seat of his Exersaucer and now he has found his most favorite "take it out" place...Daddy's Sock Drawer! Yesterday morning Ivan left his sock drawer open and then left the room. Everett was hanging with me while I was drying my hair. He wandered over to the dresser and the next thing we know he has gotten his hands on Daddy's socks. It was adorable, I leaned over the bed to see what he was doing and he just laughed. He loved throwing the socks on the floor. Too cute!

Weekend Playdates!

On Friday, Nancy and Jeff came in for a visit. Everett loved playing "Arms Up" with Grandma and he spent some quality, and adorable, time with Grandpa (just enough time to where they are now making the same faces...!)

On Saturday we took a trip out to Long Island. We got a chance to visit with the Katzman girls and our cousin Rosalie. That night Jenn and I went to see Ally in her High School Play GREESE...it was great!

And of course the weekend would not have been complete without a visit from Isaac. On Sunday Danielle, Craig and Isaac came to visit at the Gabel's. Danielle was very excited to go food shopping at Waldbaums (finally, a BIG grocery store)! Everett is still learning how to show his affection, he just gets so excited to see Isaac he doesn't know how to hold back. He even showed Danielle how much he loved her!

It was a fun packed weeekend. We love that we have such great family and friends!

New Additions!

Our large family has just gotten even bigger! Everett has 2 new cousins. Harry Edward and Carsyn Albert are here! My cousin Krystal & Harry had their first child, Harry Jr, on Wednesday March 18th. My Aunt Bernadette & Uncle Albert had their third child and first SON, Carsyn, on Friday March 20th. Harry weighed in at 7 lbs and Carsyn at 7 lbs 14 ozs. Both baby boys and Mom's are doing great. We can't wait to meet our new cousins! Congratulations Krystal & Harry and Bernadette & Albert.
